Easy Peasy Caprese

Simply the best summer salad to replace the boring green alternative. Grow your own basil or get it fresh from your grocer. This makes every meal impressive!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium Fresh tomatoes
  • 4 ounces Fresh Mozzarella sliced
  • 1 slice Red onion thinly sliced
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • Pinch fresh ground black pepper
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp Balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 Tbsp Basil chiffonade

Instructions
 

  • Cut tomatoes into even slices. Distribute evenly onto two plates
  • Cut mozzarella cheese into pieces equivalent to tomato slices and slide them in between the tomato slices.
  • Sprinkle red onion over tomatoes and cheese
  • Sprinkle tomatoes, cheese and red onion with the salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over ingredients. Distribute basil chiffonade over both salads.
