Thanksgiving on a bun!

Love burgers but trying to eat healthier? You won’t even miss the beef with this recipe!

I remember the first time I made these for my husband. He literally turned up his nose at me when I told him I was making turkey burgers for dinner. After that dinner he not only called his mother and raved about them, but he requests them now all the time.

The addition of veggies and fresh herbs hints of Thanksgiving turkey on a bun. 🙂

When devising this recipe years ago, I just thought of all of the flavors of Turkey Day and figured out how to get them all in a burger. I love using fresh herbs, but if you don’t have them handy, you can substitute dry poultry seasoning. And, I swear by my food processor to bring the veggies to a wet paste. This way, they are distributed evenly throughout the meat. And the secret for a tender burger is to soak the breadcrumbs in milk. Thanks for the tip Grandma! 🙂

This is an extremely versatile mixture

I always make more batches and use it for extra burgers for later, turkey meatloaf and even stuffed Portabellos! I would love to know how you will use this in your own recipes.

The Juiciest Turkey Burgers Ever!

Turkey is a healthier alternative to a beef burger but can many times be bland and dry. Not this turkey burger! The addition of lots of veggies and herbs makes these truly mouth-watering.
